Dear Whiskey Jack,
Thank you for your comment.
We do understand your disappointment with the quality of your recent customer service experience and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are experiencing issues installing drivers. If Windows was preinstalled from another motherboard, a driver or software conflict is possibly preventing drivers to install successfully. To resolve the issue, we recommend that you install Windows clean or fresh from scratch using this motherboard with all updates installed. Should you need further assistance with the product, please email me at cl-rodel@asus.com and I would be more than happy to help. Or you are most welcome to call Product Support Hotline at: 1(888) 678-3688. Also, you can chat with an ASUS live support agent from the link: https://www.asus.com/us/support/article/1135/.
Thank you for choosing an ASUS product.
Regards,

Overall enjoying the board. Having no issues. Haven't tinkered in the bios much. I haven't done an upgrade since 2012 and my Maximus Hero IV so obviously I was due. I loved my Hero with the aesthetic of how the Red LED around the board. I thought upgrading and how things have evolved I might have some better aesthetics but honestly the RGB is very minimalistic. I would have tried the new Crosshair hero but I couldn't justify the price. That is truly my only complaint. I could have gone to a competitor for their looks but I have been using ASUS for all my builds but 1 I felt I would stay consistent. So again thus far no issues with the board functionality only the aesthetics. I also made my choice for AIO and case fans to Corsair so the Asus software to sync the little RGB it has is not something that can be done at least what I have found yet. Overall happy with the board but I also woud have liked a little more.

Was a great board when working, it quit in August and I bought it in January. The ram light was on and pc wouldn't boot. None of the ram ports had power. Board is sent back for warranty so that was a plus.

I found the motherboard was easy to install. Everything worked great. I haven't played any games yet, waiting for my new monitor to get here. From what I've seen so far, I'm sure it will work great on my games.

Great motherboard. Comes with a ton of extras, and most importantly -- and this is important! It is able to flash the bios with the 7950x3D processor which is required since windows won't boot without the latest bios update.

No boot - Memory problem Tried 3 different set of memory, (two of which were on teh QVL). Q-led indicated memory issue, q-code showed 0d. 0d is "reserved for future use". Three chats with different support techs. All three were helpful, but unable to correct the problem. Returned board.

Dear Randy Kreisel,
Thank you for your comment.
We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if the motherboard is not booting up successfully. No boot or no POST can either be any of the hardware (CPU, RAM, PSU), installed on the motherboard, including the motherboard itself. To resolve the issue, please verify all hardware meet system requirements of the motherboard, are working properly, and installed correctly on the motherboard. We recommend testing the motherboard outside the case to determine if all the hardware is correctly installed. Also, we recommend clearing the CMOS every component change or installation. The error code: 0d, typically indicates a memory or a CPU issue. Other potential problem is other hardware. including the motherboard.

Very happy with the MB supporting an AMD 7950X. Bios memory battery was dead on arrival. Linux support is a bit rough at the moment. I had ethernet failures until I found: https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/xypn1m/network_card_intel_ethernet_controller_i225v_igc/ Linux audio not is passing through the S/PDIF at the moment.
