I bought this a few weeks ago for vlogging and it is just perfect, also my friends came, who are a band, all sat round the mic with guitars and singer, it performed superbly. Recommend!!!

Bought this 2 weeks ago and I am of the opinion that this is the only USB mic one would need. 24bit/192 KHz capable, very crisp and clean

I just bought my new LYRA for my Mac Mini Intel (2018) running Big Sur 11.6 and my iPad Pro 12.9 (2018). Both work flawlessly once I plug in and connect with the right USB cable. The sound quality is very nice, high quality, reflecting my voice character. The mute button also works well with a pinkish indicator light. I have ponder back and forth before making the purchase coz' been reading lots of uncertain reviews about incompatibility with macOS Big Sur. I'm it turns out working perfectly here.

Worked great until macbook big sur update

I loved this mic when my mac was using the catalina operating system. Very easy to use, fun to play with the sound settings and get rich results. However, I do not recommend buying this mic if you are using big sur operating system on a mac as it can no longer be recognized--and I've tried resetting EVERYTHING. This is a common problem per mac support forums since the upgrade. So although AKG advertised this mic as compatible with "Mac OS® 10.7 or higher", this is no longer true. Basically, any updated mac user cannot use this mic, it seems... I had less then 1 yr of use from it....

Such a shame, AKG, why oh why?

Very difficult to use this mic. veryy unustable with mac products and the sound is way way too compressed, just gives you ear fatigue

It's a piece of art that ROCKS

This is a smash hit right out of the box. Great components and solid build, quick & easy setup, world-class sound.
I recorded 2 VO files right away, and within an hour after sending them to the client I heard back that my "voice has a very soothing tone."
As my voice does not have a soothing tone, it's gotta be the Lyra. There you go.

LYRA need hardware for streamers

the sound of LYRA is great ! but it needs a hardware that i can control my sound with compressor, noise gate and more... those options are very useful for streamer.
