Newer products do not compare to the original item

I bought my first one about 13 years ago and it was amazing. I used it almost every day and it lasted over 5 years. I have bought multiple ones since then and I'm lucky if it lasted a year. The latest one is giving me problems after a few months and I paid over #300.00. Disappointed is doesn't come close to how i feel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
