I was so happy to see that Simple Human finally came out with a rechargeable sensor pump that I ordered two. My first disappointing discovery was that I could not use the same soap that I have been using in my other simple human sensor pumps for years. After I upgraded to approved soap, one pump worked OK but the other never did. It was replaced under warranty, but the replacement performed equally poorly, so I ordered actual simple human soap and tried that. With Simple Human branded soap, the original pump worked better with just the occasional drip but the replacement pump still performed very poorly. It too was replaced under warranty and that pump works as well as the original that I kept, again with just the occasional drip. While I do like the styling of the new pumps, I would be happiest if you would just put a rechargeable battery in the old pump mechanism. With that said, I could not have asked for better customer service. No complaints there.

better but still needs more work

SH fixed 2 big problems but introduced a couple more. The new sealed magnetic charging interface should take care of the constant water damage due to the mini USB port. Also, the removable lid with the wide pouring zone is a big improvement over the small hatch that only lifted to 90 degrees which made pouring tougher than it needed to be. The two new problems are: the new touchless dispensing mechanism is a neat idea but it doesn't dispense enough at the max distance from the spout. Also, the user doesn't know quite where to put the sponge for the maximum quantity. The small setting is pretty useless. I only try to trigger the maximum dispensing. It also sputters out rather than the nice constant stream it used to dispense with. The other problem is that there is no window into the soap chamber so there's no good way to know how much soap is in the chamber. Even opening the lid doesn't really do much. I have to wait until the soap is empty to know. I'd like to see what's going on so I can refill it before it's empty.

Love that I can wash my hands in my Kitchen without having to touch a pump. I know it will make Great Gift for my Nephews Wedding this Summer.

We have a variety of soaps and soap pumps to choose from:
1. We have foam cartridges that work with foam cartridge sensor pumps
2. We have liquid soap refill pouches that go with any of our liquid sensor pumps as well as the square push pumps.

Needs improvements

Simple human has great products we have purchased a good amount of products for our home however this soap dispenser could use some improvements like having the back of it see thru so that you know how much soap you're putting in it. The other thing is this dispenser is only dispensing simple human soap I tried to use another brand of soap that I've used on all my other simple human dispensers without an issue however with this specific pump it won't come out. This needs to be fixed some
I need to use specific soap for a skin condition and this pump can't do the job even though my other ones in other models can. Please fix this i hate to have to return it when simple human makes great products.

Although our liquid soap is manufactured to work well with our pumps, this soap pump is specifically designed to work with a large variety of both hand and dish soap. We only recommend avoiding soaps with micro-beads or exfoliants. We have contacted the customer to assist them with their unit.
