this works exactly as I'd hoped. It did take a while to find a spot in my kitchen where I wouldn't set it off on accident, but that's not the soap dispenser's fault!

This product is working great. Although if you have a choice I recommend purchasing the soap dispenser that uses the foam soap that is offered by simple human. People in our office seem to like it better.
