I bought this grill several months ago. Love It. It unfortunately was caught in the aftermath of Helene and took a tumble. Several parts broke off and it looks a little crooked but this machine fired right up!! Have used it numerous times since then. Great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Difficult to use…would not recommend

I spent a lot on this small grill, thinking it would be the easiest to cook with, but it’s been a disappointment. There are hardly any recipes available, and you can’t really grill with the lid open because it loses heat quickly, making it hard to get the temperature back up. It didn’t even come with a recipe book, or any helpful hints…just a few ideas. Overall, it’s been very challenging to cook on. I’ve ended up covering it, storing it in the garage, and using a small portable gas grill instead when cooking for myself, rather than bringing out my large Egg grill. They make it look so easy on the TV ads, but it’s not! Save your money!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This grill was a warranty replacement. The new features (link to a phone app) make grilling/smoking so much easier. I can see the status of what is in the grill while I am doing other prep in the kitchen. 2 thumbs up Ninja!

Purchased this Grill about 3 weeks ago and have tried out the grill with the smoker. It cooked the steaks with grill marks and a slight smoky flavor very similar to a charcoal grill. The auto timer settings for the steaks is too long. If you want a less done steak use the time you are used to using for a propane or charcoal grill.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome Grill

I have always held off on purchasing this item because I have had 2 models of the indoor version (they are great!) and figured this grill would be a lot like them just "tempered" for outdoor use. Well wow I was wrong. Thus far this grill has been amazing. I see complaints about it not smoking meet very well, but I have to say that my first time using the smoker cooking country style ribs was an amazing experience. They tasted just as if I had gotten them from a smokehouse restaurant...the flavor was amazing. As far as cooking other items...I have cooked sausages, burgers and marinated chicken thighs on this...they all came out great using the grill function. In all actuality I thought that they all came out better and had more of a nice char to them than using a gas grill. Charcoal grills still rule, but this grill does make things close in both flavor and char on my food. Also, cleanup was amazingly simple. The removable grill grate is very easy to clean just soak in hot, soapy water for a couple of minutes and anything stuck to the grate just falls off. This grill is not that cheap and I just hope it will last me a reasonably long time. Thus far I am extremely pleased and very happy with this purchase. From coffee makers to air fryers and indoor and outdoor grills every Ninja item I have ever purchased has always been amazing.
