Great buy

My daughter watches the movie 4 times a day she holds on tight to her Barbie and sings the songs, love the little mermaid Barbie.

Plastic top of dress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my daughter saw this doll, she knew right away it was Princess Ariel. The facial features and hair are realistic and resemble the character in the movie well. She loved how this is a standard size Barbie doll so she could play with this doll alongside her other Barbie dolls. Right away she commented on how the doll has feet and no mermaid tail. It would be nice if this doll came with a mermaid tail. The dress has very nice glittery details. However, the top part of the dress is plastic and can not come off the doll. My daughter didn't like this. We wish the entire dress could be taken off to allow for outfit changes.

Great doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves playing with her new Ariel doll. The doll looks like Ariel a bit, not just a Barbie with red hair. My daughter loves her princess dress and her shoes just happen to be my daughters favorite color, so that was noticed first!

Great doll, hard to keep accessories on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we received this doll in the mail, my daughter's couldn't have been more excited. First impression, the dolls were gorgeous. After many hours of playing with and sharing the dolls, my only let down are the shoes and hair accessories that do not stay on them for more than maybe a second. It would be wonderful if there was a way to keep the shoes on the doll.

Ariel arrived really fast and well packaged. She has long red realistic hair, but was attached with plastic pieces I had to cut out. My daughter loves to play with her in the water. Ariel has removable crown, heels, and skirt so this made it easy to play in water. She has a hard plastic, but realistic top so when she took the skirt off it looks like a bathing suit. Overall great product for my 5 year old. She plays for hours with this doll.

So fancy, little one loves it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pretty doll! My daughter says she looks "extra fancy" and loves her dress. The top of the dress is a solid plastic which is nice so she doesn't lose her top as many others have! The quality is very nice!
