[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chair is too low for me. I need to order a replacement part to raise it. Yes I used a stool to rest my feet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chair is great! It is both beautiful and comfortable. The instructions to assemble were easy to read and understand. Large print and step by step illustrations. I only weigh 109 lbs and am in my 70s and assembled it easily. The longest part was removing each carefully wrapped and cushioned piece. The entire process was logical and thoughtful. Thank you for that! I like that it is super adjustable. The old chair went straight to the dump!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first new office chair I have purchased in about 10 years. It was simple to put together and super comfy. I did make one alteration; I purchased higher quality wheels. I’m sure the wheels that came with it were fine but I needed heavier duty, super quiet wheels.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this to replace an executive style chair, which was comfortable but had me naturally rolling into suboptimal positions from an ergonomic standpoint. For context, I'm 6'2" ~220lbs, so while not a giant, I do need something substantial to be comfortable in.Went with this chair + headrest + tall cylinder. Fulfillment was exceptionally fast, and the items are packed well. It's highly unlikely that the courier will damage these chairs in shipment. Assembly was quick and painless. The Good:+ Very comfortable. It's not a cushy recliner, but I'm absolutely able to sit in this chair for a full workday without regretting it.+ The multiple adjustment points are fantastic. As I was settling in to the chair, I quickly found adjustments for basically everything that wasn't perfect. It's really easy to dial in the chair to fit your needs.+ Quality materials. You can tell these chairs are assembled to last. The Bad- I accidentally adjust something almost daily. The arms and headrest are particularly subject to accidental adjustments when shifting around in the seat or pulling the chair in and out of my desk. There's no way to lock these adjustments in, which is a definite miss in my opinion. Annoyingly, the head rest is susceptible to snapping out of place when I lean back and use it as a headrest. I think it's worth noting that I'm a larger fellow, so this experience may vary for the less oafish. This is not enough for me to dislike the product, but definitely keeps me from singing the chair's praises. To be clear, this is my only real issue with the chair (and the reason for docking a star); the following issues are just minor suggestions for improvement.- Arm/seat. It's not egregious, but there is some play in the arms and the forward/backward tilt of the seat. This is likely another symptom of the adjustability features of the model. This is a minor quibble at worst, but worth surfacing.- Tall cylinder. If you're 6 feet or taller, you're probably going to need this. Branch ships the default cylinder in each unit, which explains the nominal, but not immaterial upcharge. It would be great to see the default cylinder be a little bit more accommodating to the vertically gifted and/or not force us to pay for two cylinders. I understand the logistical constraints around having tall/short versions of every unit, but there has to be a better way.- Seat is slightly firm. This might just be a personal preference, but a slightly more forgiving seat would have been a plus. Again, it's a comfortable all-day chair in this state.Verdict:The Ergonomic Chair Pro will be my daily driver for years to come. Comfortable, customizable, and capable, it brings tremendous value for someone that wants a premium ergonomic chair without taking a second mortgage out on his/her home. The truly premium experience is only partially marred by arms and a headrest that is susceptible to accidental adjustments - more of an annoyance than a dealbreaker. Highly recommended.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tall cylinder is required if you are around 6’ or taller. I am ~6’3” and it would be nice if it could go a bit higher. The head rest isnt tall enough for me either. I have to roll my head back farther than desired for my head to touch the headrest. Generally if you are taller, this may not be the best chair for you (could find something better), otherwise it is pretty good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I sat down I knew I made the right choice. Instantly I noticed the significant support the chair design provides and my back thanked me for it!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had help putting it together but I love it. Everything about it is comfortable and well made. Great price. I have a back problem and the new chair is really helping.
