An articulated body for realistic play!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have quite a few dolls from the Fashionista line, but none hold my almost four year old granddaughter’s attention as this doll and her wheelchair. The doll is beautiful, with a full head of soft hair, large hoop earrings, jelly sandals and a simple summer romper that isn’t so fussy as to get in the way of play. What makes her most special is the fully articulated body that is easily posed to fit not only her accompanying wheelchair, but to bend into realistic positions using furniture and vehicles from other Barbie playsets and the Dreamhouse. The standard fashionistas with stiff arms and legs don’t compare! The wheelchair itself is well designed with a waist clip to secure the doll in the seat of the chair, two hand brakes to lock the wheels and and an adjustable footrest. My granddaughter was intrigued when she saw her great grandmother using a wheelchair during a short visit last month and this Barbie sized version gives her the chance to explore the different features of a wheelchair on her own. The included ramp is a nice touch that expands on what might be the challenges of navigating wheels over obstacles someone might encounter in real situations. It would have been nice if the set included a cup holder or a tote behind the seat to hold additional accessories, but the articulated body is plenty to make this doll a favorite!

Great toy to teach diversity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that Barbie is expanding their range of different types of people. Being inclusive is important for all children. Children that are in wheelchairs deserve to have a doll that looks like them. Children who are not in wheelchairs should also see that we are all the same.

Nice doll and accessory

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doll is very pretty and I liked the way the doll fit into the wheelchair. The waist attachment holds her in the wheelchair nicely. The ramp that was included was a nice touch. The only negative I found was that the doll's hair is a bit messy and hard to style.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love, love, love this Barbie! The Wheelchair is great to familiarize children with wheelchairs! Love the details of the wheelchair…the wheels each lock, the footrest moves, there’s a ramp. The one thing lacking is anti tip bars on the back which would be helpful. The Barbie is very pretty. We did add a band to her hair as if it’s a headband so we could see her pretty face. The Barbie’s joints (ankles, knees, wrists, and elbows) bend which is always more fun! All in all everyone in the house LOVES this barbie and wheelchair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. Very happy with this packaging. Exactly as shown when arrived. Kids are more than loving the new hotpink wheelchair. My son loves it for his war/army stories and can we just give credit where due, that made to move body is epic. Action figure quality with classic Barbie aesthetics. Perfetion! Love that you're adding to the fasionista line's diversity, would love to see some new body types as someone that is handicapable. Overall outstanding product, will be getting more from this line FOR SURE. Definitely recommending

A must-have for the 60th Anniversary Dreamhouse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Barbie Fashionista + Wheelchair is a great addition to the Barbie 60th Anniversary Dreamhouse, as it comes with an elevator that is now wheelchair accessible. The details of this Barbie were focused on the movable body parts. The legs bend at the knees as well as the ankles. The arms bend at the elbows and at the wrists. The wheelchair moves easily and has a plastic holder on the chair back that keeps the doll in place and upright. My daughters enjoyed assisting their Barbie into places with the help of the ramp that is included. I highly recommend this unique and beautiful Barbie Fashionista + Wheelchair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful doll. Great construction and the clothes are decent. The hair was matted down and full of kinks. Not all African-American women have nappy hair and my daughter was slightly upset about that.
