[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old has never been so captivated by a toy. She has a form of muscular dystrophy and is a part-time wheelchair user, so this Barbie was something she kept asking for. When she saw it in the box she cried because she was so excited. I love the details on the doll so she can sit correctly. Her hands actually grip the wheels so she could push herself. And the wheelchair even has brakes, which is such an amazing detail. Needless to say...this Barbie has been played with since my daughter opened her. She even took her to school to show her friends. Great product! So thankful.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fabulous wheelchair Barbie doll. The wheelchair has so many interactive features from the brakes to the moveable footrest. The plastic clip to hold the Barbie in place is perfect to help keep her steady during play. The Barbie is completely pose able and has the cutest little romper. The ramp makes more imaginative play possible.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have several friends who use wheelchairs so I was so excited for Barbie to offer this doll so she can see someone whose mobility is similar to her friends. I would love if Mattel created a Chelsea doll with a wheelchair, too, as my daughter (age 5) connects more with the Chelsea dolls because they seem more like her and her friends.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product yesterday. I have not opened it yet, because I want to give it as a Christmas present. I really like how Barbie is doing this variety of inclusive dolls. In my daughter's school, there are kids with special needs, and these Barbie's help kids understand better, and respect, all people as equals. The Barbie is beautiful, as well as her accessories and outfit. I know my girl will love this doll, just as her other Barbie's.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls really like this new Barbie! She’s super positionable- ankle, knee, wrist, elbow and shoulder joints! She can sit realistically and appear to really be maneuvering her wheelchair. My daughter has a classmate this year that uses a wheelchair and crutches, and has been naturally curious wheelchairs. This was an obvious buy to help her explore that curiosity. The Barbie is also cute and has the nice shiny smooth hair that hardly ever tangles. We really like the chair details- foot rest moves, brakes on the chair, etc. Generally just all really thought out!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely in love with this toy. This is perfect to get children to see that disabilities are not anything to be afraid of. Opens the child’s imagination and keeps them focused. I love this product .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves barbies, loved the bright colored clothes and wheelchair ramp. wheelchair has great features, tires have little grooves, has hand brakes. The mobility of doll is great moves like a real person.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really cute Barbie. My mom was in a wheelchair for a lot of my life and for as long as my daughter knew her. I really appreciate the representation of this doll. I love all the bendable parts on her and the details of the wheelchair. She comes with a ramp, and the wheelchair rolls easily. The brakes actually work too!
