My old hood made noise. I replaced it with your model with more suction power. It mentioned that it is quiet at lower setting. It is as lound as my 25 year old hood.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just got it installed today, I am so impressed with the filter that trap the cooking oil, easy to wash, & it will not go straight to the fan.

It works

Just got this installed and it works. Was happy to find a hood that fit my space and offered a lot of air flow. I havent used it yet while cooking. It seems a little louder than my prior range hood, even on the low setting. I dont love the giant Kucht logo on the front. May try ro remove that.

Best hood fan for professional cooking

I replaced my old microwave and range comb with this one and it is night and day. The hood fan is quiet and powerful. I would recommend this range hood to anyone.
