Just installed this range hood and I must say, it is large. It is pretty loud but quieter than my old range hood, so plus there. Also moves more air. Not much noise difference between low, med, and high. All 3 on the louder side. Would be nice if the low setting was lower and quieter. What could be better? The lights could be angled more so that they focus on the front burners. Right now they focus on the rear burners. Not helpful in my opinion as I'd like the lighting on the burners I use the most (in the front). Also the install instructions are not very useful. They're very generic and poorly written. You'll need to measure out your unit's mounting hole locations and translate those to the wall. I would recommend measuring everything from the centerline. Would have been nice to set it up as a bracket with hooks to mount on the wall first, then mount the unit on the bracket. Current setup requires your wall anchors to be install then mount the unit on those, so make sure everything measures up and lines up correctly before installing. It came with some wall anchors that seemed intuitive to use but didn't work and require quite a large hole to be drilled. Had to use another type. Look this over before you use them. Packaging was good, but there were of lot of the small styrofoam balls on everything. They came off pretty easy with a vac. Some may blow out of the unit when you turn it on, so you may want to run it before installing to get everything out. There a film on the stainless steel to prevent scratching. This came off pretty easy. I would recommend removing it after you get everything installed to prevent fingerprints. Yes, this unit is a fingerprint magnet. Would have been nice if they used a fingerprint resistant stainless steel. At this price point, I would have expected that. Also would recommend they get rid of the large branding nameplate on the front. To me, it's too large and obnoxious. Overall it's a good product and I would recommend it. Hopefully it will hold up with time.
Being a cook of spicy foods, my kitchen requires a hood. My Kucht hood is relatively quiet even though its suction capacity is 900 CFM. For a domestic use, this is more than enough. Most of the market kitchen hoods are below 300 CFM. During my cooking, it works like magic, sucks all the smell instantaneously. The operation buttons are simple and easy to follow. However, it requires professional installation and may need longer 6” diameter duct (depends on how far is your stove from the outer wall).
We like this range hood for its efficiency it is quiet well lit The baffles are face to clean and remove 3 speeds, a timer included a simple touch button clock for functions no smoke in the house we like this product
I remodeled my kitchen and was excited to use all my new appliances. The Kucht Range Hood works great and looks great. It is easy to use and remarkably quiet for a 900 CFM. It makes cooking a lot more fun!
