We love this super fashionable ice skating barbie.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was so excited to get an ice skating barbie! She thought the barbie's outfit was so pretty. We really loved how detailed the ice skates were, making them look like real skates. She also came with a bouquet of flowers she can be given after her performance and a cute skating trophy. My daughter liked how the barbie could stand on her own, even with the skate's blade.

Trophy-winning skater Barbie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A beautiful "You Can Be Anything" figure skater Barbie. She has wonderful brown hair in a top knot and wears a purple-ish skirt with permanent pink leggings. Her figure skates are perfect; they stay on but can be removed with a little help. It's extra fun to have a trophy and a bouquet. She's perfect to skate around the table or the floor. With a velcro neck, her skirt is easy to remove to change into something else. This is a great doll for active girls who like their Barbies to be active too!

A great simple first doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is pretty and fun for a first doll. The hair is great and easy to manage as it is molded into an updo and won't get tangled or messy. The doll comes with a few accessories (a trophy and a flower bouquet). The dolls legs are pink to mimic tights and she comes with a nice pair of ice skates that stay on her feet very well. Bottom line though I was disappointed that the doll didn't bend at all - even the legs are rigid. It is difficult to play with her as an ice skating doll since her movement is very limited. She would have been a great made-to-move doll. The other issue that I saw was that her bottom isn't painted pink like the legs and the dress is short. She bends at all and you can see her bottom and it's kind of weird like she skating naked. The bouquet is also all one color - it would have been nice if that was not the case. The trophy came permanently bent and it is so thin the skater perched on it will not last long - it will probably snap very soon. However, if the child is small I can see it being a great first doll since I doubt they would notice these details. I was just wishing there was more thought put into the design of the doll.

Figure Skating Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Barbie Careers Figure Skater Doll is a nice addition to my daughter's Barbie collection. Barbie comes with a trophy, flowers, and of course, ice skates. The tights are not removable, her legs are painted pink. For a figure skater, however, we wish her arms and legs were bendable. The one arm that is at a 90 degree angle stays that way. Overall though, very pretty and great concept.

Barbies in the house.
