I'm very happy with this range hood. It is solid, well built, powerful, and quiet. It moves a lot of air! The design is a strong point - it's beautiful and functional and total pro. The lights are OK, wish they were brighter. The installation templates were excellent. The manual not as good, and needs correction - it is an 8" exhaust vent while some references in the manual say 6". Overall very pleased with this range hood.

No more smoke alarms going off

The Kucht hood we purchased has saved our hearing and sanity. Every time my 16 year old watched a TikTok video about cooking she would get in the kitchen, and promptly fill the house with smoke in her attempts to replicate the dishes. Since installing the Kucht hood we again have peace and our hearing is starting to recover. Kucht makes a professional looking exhaust system that is powerful, easy to clean and designed similar to those used in commercial kitchens. The suction is amazing and it removes not only the smoke, but odors from my lovely Thai wife's cooking. The low fan setting is often adequate suction for most cooking needs, except for roasting Thai chili peppers. Previously, when my wife roasted chili peppers, everyone in our home began to cough uncontrollably, our eyes swelled, and we developed burns and rashes on all exposed skin. Now, we turn the fan on high when roasting chili peppers, and have no more health issues in our home. However, the suction is so powerful on high we had to install seatbelts on our dining chairs after nearly losing my mother in the vortex. Our neighbors and three local communities have yet to determine why they begin to cough, and there eyes swell closed on Thai chili pepper days.
