Barbie Color Pop Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I think that it is a great product here is why. The blue slime is nice. The texture and consistency - I feel can be hit and miss; I think depends on the person. And I personally love a good jiggly slime, and this fills that need beautifully – Even 4 weeks post opening. Moving on looking like some of the ice cubes which are pretty on theme for the most part on theme. I love them however I would prefer the packaging to be hard plastic and not like the packaging plastic – even though being able to pop the top off is fun. The cubes contain a drink (for the barbie) and the other ice cube containing baby blue roller skate. My only complaint we didn’t realize we needed to read directions and didn’t know you could press the cube to just pop off the top – kids don’t tend to read directions when opening. Anyway, I love roller skating, so this is great to see for our barbie. The blind bags are great, super easy to open, and I think that it would be easy for kids to open as well. The first bag is an adorable little fruit skirt which I love its giving fruit salad vibes I love it! Next blind bag an orange slice fruit floaty I just wish that there was a picture of the dog in the floaty so it would be clear what it was for. The next blind bag is this little blue puppy, which is a rubbery plastic I personally think that it would be like the ice cubes if it was hard plastic also like any other pet. I love the doll, her hair came out of the packaging in great condition, no flyways or anything. She's a made to move (for the most part) The reason it is amazing is because it makes everything more playable when the doll is a made to move or has more joints which makes this a amazing feature I like her really cute swimsuit. I really like also the doll is being inclusive to everybody. When we get her all dressed in her skirt, her skates (a bit tricky to put on the skates) her puppy in the orange slice floaty (not big enough for barbie) and then the drink. I noticed that this doesn’t have the loop on the cup to attach the drink to the barbie’s finger (thumb). This is a problem as the loop makes the cup more playable and harder to lose during the play scene. I would encourage Mattel to keep the loops on the drink containers for the barbie to hold. Overall, it’s a super cute set, and I quite like it.

A Bit Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I surprised my granddaughters with this Barbie because they love Barbies. We found this one to be a bit confusing, however. though the oldest is just turning 5. They loved the doll itself, but I find these dolls don't compare to the quality of the dolls of the past, which is disappointing. They loved the idea of the slimy gel, though I think it is quite messy. I love that Mattel offers such a variety of dolls with the different occupations, ages, and fun packs. I'm not really a fan of all these extra things like the color changing, slime stuff, etc.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Keep the Barbie toss the slime

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie is adorable but left some things ro be desired. The one we revieved had no scent on any kind which was such a bummer. The color change features (hair, lips and face) worked flawlessly. The hair on this barbie even felt a bit better than normal type when wet which was nice. The slime into the cup feature was odd. At first I thought it would desolve the little boxes but I quickly realized that did not happen and had to stick my hand it to get them out. The slime is terribly sticky, not a fan of it at all.

Barbie full of surprises.

The color changing hair with temperature was my favorite part. Should definitely stay age appropriate due to potential spills. Overall a unique barbie fun time

Barbie in a cup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's super cute and adorable with the accompanying cup! However, i was a bit disappointed at the lack of articulation at the doll's wrist. She wasn't able to hold the cup or pet. This is the only reason why I'm giving it a 4 star instead of 5.

Fun mystery exciting anticipation wow colorful fun

Interesting new Barbie!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an interesting new Barbie concept… combining Barbies with slime. The whole concept of poking a hole in the foil so the slime could drop through onto the toys in the cup was a bit odd, as we then had to move the slime anyway to get the toys. But both my son and daughter were thrilled with the slime and the little accessories that came with the Barbie. They loved opening each individual package to see what was inside. It’s hard to keep the Barbie and her hair out of the slime and out of the kids’ clothes, though. Most of it got wrapped up in her hair and we haven’t been able to get it out yet, which was disappointing for my kids. Definitely for kids that are a little bit older and mature enough to play with slime.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It got quit messy and eventually disposed of. Overall the doll and accessories are teally cute. My granddaughter loved the fact that the dolls legs and arms are bendable. She added this doll to her other barbies in her doll house. Really loves the color changes when using hot or cold water. Would recommend to ages 6 and above. No one younger.*
