The fun keeps going!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the way the toy is presented is beautiful! I loved the packaging and all the details to really make it stand out. When we opened it up, we were surprised we had activities to complete to get the key to unlock the doll. Each activity had instructions that were easy to follow and kept my kids’ attention. We had so much fun that we almost forgot there was a doll lol! When we got the key to unlock her cover, we opened it up and she was exactly as pictured. This gift had a lot of aspects that would appeal to almost any kid.

Fun Simple Sorcerer’s Cookbook

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fun toy from the start. We made our own slime and that was a big hit. It was so much fun watching the powder turn to slime! The fizzy bomb was not too great as the little mixing pot provided did not contain enough room for it to fully disolve so we just dumped the water out and put fresh water in and it still dissolved to reveal the sectrwt key. All in all this was a dun cookbook for my child and theybhad fun opening each compartment to reveal thrir beautiful blue hair doll at rhe end.

Potion fun without the mess!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disney Descendants the cookbook was a hit with my son! It had clear, easy to follow instructions with pictures. The slime was sticky at first but as you played with it formed a nice, “putty” type of slime. There was no included container for the slime once it’s made, but a baggie works just fine. My son enjoying the potion portion of the cookbook the most, as it fizzed and overflowed out of the plastic crown bowl. They provide a plastic tray to set the crown in to minimize mess and it was surprisingly effective. The fizzy ball (bath bomb like) took a few minutes to dissolve, but my son happily helped it along by poking it. There was a key left after the fizzy potion was done and opened a door to reveal the doll. The doll is well made and comes with some accessories which change color when placed in water. The cookbook is well made and now houses my son’s “treasures” that he can now keep safe under lock and key. This cookbook was full of fun and made for a delightful Sunday morning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids thought it was super fun, “recipes” sparked their interest and had them eager to play. We loved that it was sensory based, the boys loved making the slime; it also helped entertain them while waiting for the second recipe to break down, the doll is great quality; we loved her hair, absolutely beautiful. The only thing we didn’t really like was the back, it was a bit flimsy and when siblings were curious about what was in the secret compartment they would try to pry through the back. Other than that, everything was great quality; the book has been used time and time again, to hide secret treasures and such! Definitely recommend.

Fun and interactive cookbook with surprises!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Engaging and interactive surprise toy! My daughter loved following the recipe steps to create the slime and then revealing the key to unlock the Chloe Charming doll at the end. Your child may need some guidance since it involves water and mixing. My daughter said the directions were easy to follow and that it only took about 2 minutes to create the slime but a little longer than 6 minutes to reveal the key in the bath bomb. It can get a little messy throughout the process but it was overall a fun experience and the doll is very well made!

Fun variety pack - bath bomb, slime, and doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Descendants package offers a variety of activities from a fizz ball and slime kit to a cute Descendants doll. The book looks like a spell book and houses the doll and parts. The fizz ball needs to be soaked to reveal a key, which is then used to open the book and unlock the Descendants doll. There is no storage container for the slime, so my kids threw it away after playing with it for a day or two. The doll is fairly basic and bends at the neck, arms (at the shoulder), and legs (at the hip).
Overall, my 11 and 5 year old kids loved this kit and enjoyed the different activities offered in it. They are keeping the spell book case to use as a decoration this Halloween. They hope to get other dolls in this set!

Fan of new Descendants!

Not only is my child a fan of descendants she loved the surprises and how you have to actively open items to play. With a little help with the directions it made it enjoyable. Last but not least the big surprise of a doll at the end. The book case also makes a great keepsake!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids really enjoyed opening and playing with this box and doll. The case was really well designed. "Recipes" are inside the case and easy to understand. The items used for the recipes are useful, so I didn't mind the kids wanting to keep them. After the doll is revealed, the case can be used to store decent sized keepsakes. There is also a fun 90s style surprise on the back of the case that was really fun to share with the kids. Overall, both kids loved it and would like to purchase the other cookbook.
