[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the idea and concept behind this Barbie, Isabelle Allende; however, my daughter did not love it. Unfortunately, she is not identifiable or relevant to young girls. The packaging was excessive and very difficult. Also, be sure not to miss the stand for the doll - we almost threw it away. The shoes do not fit the Barbie and immediately fell off...we have yet to find them. The pros - fun, glamorous jewelry and beautiful outfit, although a bit sophisticated for kids, that I saw in the Neiman Marcus window front a week later! The doll also has flexible joints, which is a plus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Barbie Inspiring Women are a great doll collection and I highly recommend them. I've purchased over a dozen dolls from this collection for my daughters. They all very positive and inspiring figures that I'm sure they'll grow to appreciate even more as they get older.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that Barbie is telling a story thru their products and not only giving us classic toys for our kids to play with but also ways to discuss empowering people and history of important figures with our children.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is a good quality doll. The clothes seem to be well made and nicer than regular Barbie clothes. It's nice to have the stand for her or to be able to take her off and play with other dolls. The only complaint is that the heels don't seem to stay on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful doll to add to my Barbie collection. The dog is a nice added touch. My daughters love that the bangs actually look styled. If you are also a collector, you will not regret this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super well designed doll. Very educational on who the lady was and what she did. It is beautifully made and designed in a way that perfectly represented who she was. Im very happy that barbie is bringing this type of attention to inspiring women

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love that Barbie is taking more historical figures and creating dolls of them. My daughter loves reading and wants to be an author someday, so I knew the Isabel Allende doll would be perfect for her. My daughter likes to pretend that she is creating a new masterpiece and will spend hours creating different scenarios of what Isabel could be doing.
