Highly engaging with lots of small details

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love gifting my daughter things that are throwbacks to my own childhood, and this Polly Pocket set is a winner!
Just like all Polly Pockets, it's a great compact, but highly engaging toy, perfect for pretend play and fine motor skills. My daughter is 4.5 and this is her first Polly Pocket. She is a little mermaid obsessed and this set is perfect for her because of that.
It has a mermaid, some sea life and plants, and a treasure basket to play around with. The slide looks like it's a waterfall and adds a little more interactive play. There's an octopus that can hold the mermaid and slide along a track. The front features a glitter shaker, and of course, the whole thing stores within the case.
It's a fabulous Polly Pocket set for newbies, and a win with my daughter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My niece who is 7 LOVES THIS toy. She played for hours with it. I dont recommend for little kids below 5 due to the size of the pieces. The little sea creatures are so cute and very well made. I love how it all fits into the case

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is so cute. It has very vibrant colors and cute little figures that it comes with, including a mermaid, an octopus and a narwhal. It has glitter in the front of the case you can shake up which is a cool feature.

Under the sea fun for kids and mom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my Polly Pockets as a kid and I'm so excited it it still being produced for my daughter today. There seems to be more accessories than in the "olden days" and I believe the old style larger circle plugs were better than the newer small foot pegs. This set is a really fun ocean theme and my daughter loves the accessories, everything from seahorses to coral reef parts. We only wish there were a few more movable sections like in other PP sets.

Compact design- easy to take along

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Polly Pockets are always loved by my daughters (age 6 and 9). Their compact carrying case make them easy to throw in a bag when the girls needs to be entertained. The numerous accessories led to over an hour of play in the first sitting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Polly Pocket toy is so cute! It has so many little details and is creatively designed with multiple play pieces and options for how to play with them all. They have definitely come a long way since the mid 90s when I had one! This is my daughter’s first Polly Pocket, and it truly is a compact toy with so many possibilities! My daughter was instantly hooked from the moment we took it out of the package! She’s super into mermaids right now so this specific Polly Pocket was the perfect fit for her. My daughter loves all of the play pieces that come with this set, especially all of the animal friends. Her favorite thing to do while playing with this play set is having the mermaid go down the cave slide. Additionally, the pink mermaid bear with the star confetti tail on the top of this Polly Pocket was a pleasant surprise! It’s such an adorable touch and made my daughter love this toy even more (she loves pink bears like her lovey)! My daughter finds this toy so fun and engaging, and it holds her interest for a while. I love that the play pieces can go in multiple spots so my daughter can change it up every time she plays. I am so impressed by the quality of this toy and how much my daughter loves it that I have already picked out a couple more for her for Christmas this year.

Great for mermaid loving child

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have enjoyed the Polly Pocket Glitter Island Compact. It comes with a mermaid doll, 6 sea creatures, and 4 other ocean related accessories. The doll has movable arms and a bending fin allowing her to sit. My kids love the slide that starts at the top of the compact (behind the green part) and slides all the way to the bottom. They also like the two octopus that hold the doll so she can move around. All of the pieces fit easily into the compact for storage. The glitter in the mermaid tail on the outside is a fun feature but not necessary for enjoyment of the compact. It makes a nice gift for an elementary aged child. The package says ages 4+ due to small parts. The packaging was also easy to open. Assembly out of the package is minimal.
