DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT

EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATIONS. USE IT CONSTANTLY WHEN OVERLANDING OFF-GRID. I HAVE COMFORT KNOWING I CAN ALWAYS FIND MY WAY BACK. I MAY NOT KNOW WHERE I'M AT BUT I'LL NEVER BE LOST. MY SON ALSO BOUGHT ONE AND HE LOVES IT AS WELL. WE CAN HAVE MEET-UPS IN THE MOST REMOTE PLACES AND ALWAYS FIND EACH OTHER. THE MINI 2 IS SO POWERFUL AND PACKED WITH FEATURES THAT WE DON'T NEED ANYTHING ELSE. THANKS GARMIN!

Battery Drains Quickly

I thought battery will last few days but it seems only last for bearly a day . Not happy with the battery. The full inreach battery last forever.

Won't sync with Android phone.

I have had two people that own InReach Mini2 work on my factory new Mini 2 for hours. It won't sync with my Pixel 5a Android 13 telephone. Both experienced users concluded my Mini2 was defective when shipped from the factory.

Great Tool with steep learning curve

This is a great tool to have, it does however have a steep learning curve. Utube and the 1800 number for Garmin will provide you with all the information you need, if you know what information you need. It would be helpful if there was a more centralized, detailed how to guide. Garmins website is generic at best.

Let's My Wife Keep an Eye on Me

The InReach is perfect for allowing my wife to know where I am when I'm out on my hikes, particularly when I'm out for a few days. It also is tremendous in helping with navigation when paired with an iPhone. Yes, it's expensive, but considering what it's capable of doing, it is worth the price, especially by giving my wife peace of mind.

Won't pair with my phone!

I worked on pairing my phone with the inreach mini 2 for several hours and it would not pair. I had two experienced Garmin in reach mini to users to try to pair my phone with my Garmin. Both experienced users concluded my new in the box Garmin InReach mini 2 came from the factory defective.
