Phone software to inreach not user friendly

Phone apps explore and messenger not user friendly. Should be dead simple to open app and send text to someone or to sos personnel. Inreach should have a bluetooth immediate hook up especially for sos. I should have an app on my inreach to enter that bluetooth me straight to messenger text. All garmin electronics are excellent but not simple user friendly.

It’s nice to know I can rely on this for communication anywhere. I’m learning to navigate, I like seeing my progress in miles and elevation. It’s really cool. I still have a lot to learn. There are good videos on the website to help with that.

Multiple support tickets opened and still not working correctly. Just went back to using my original Inreach Mini.

In Reach Mini synced up easily with Satellites when turned on in an open, non obstructed view to satellites. While typing messages into the In Reach is a bit slow, the use of the Garmin Messenger App makes sending and receiving messages a breeze. I recently completed a 3K mile adventure down Baja Ca and was able to stay in touch with my riding partner passing important messages back and forth about exact location and description of situation/problems.
