I bought this had it for a week. Start watch video on how to use pick a subscription plan very affordable. I feel very confident that when I go on a hike I feel safe. I will be going a hike in August just planning now.

The Garmin inReach Mini 2 has been a game-changer for me. Its satellite communication allows seamless text messaging (especially when paired via Bluetooth with my phone), even without cell service, providing peace of mind both for myself and those wanting to know if I am ok in the backcountry. The TracBack routing is excellent for safe navigation back to your starting point.
This compact device boasts robust battery life for multi-day trips and is incredibly durable. It's remarkably simple to use, especially when paired with the Garmin Explore or Garmin Messenger app.
The interactive SOS feature offers a great safety net, connecting directly to emergency services. Lightweight, reliable, durable and packed with essential communication and navigation tools, the InReach Mini 2 has been a great investment for enhanced safety, communication, confidence and peace of mind in the outdoors.

I bought this weeks ago so I could communicate with my family and crew and, in spite of calling tech for help, I have not been able to use it
