Peace of mind is priceless

Wonderful to have the peace of mind of safety in the backcountry. Easy to use and the battery lasts a long time. I even got to see a rescue team respond to an InReach SOS call in the Montana backcountry and they reported a 30 minute response time from call to arrival. Glad I have that security no matter where I go!

Peace of mind

Great little gadget. Text from the device or phone anywhere! Brings me (and my wife) peace of mind when I’m out off the grid with the breadcrumb feature. I like that I can share a text thread with a select few people to get critical work messages. It’s easy to set up and the variety of subscription plans should suit just about anyone.

Honestly I haven’t been out on a road trip but it’s all set up and provides us with a lot of comfort knowing we can text or hit SOS in case of an emergency when there is no cell service which is many remote areas when camping !

Facilitated My Rescue!

Bought the InReach Mini before my section hike through the Sonoran Desert on the AZT. On day 4 of the hike, I slipped on loose rock and tore my hamstring. I was four miles from the trailhead in a remote area without cell service and could not walk. I pressed the SOS button. Within 45 minutes, Garmen had the Sheriff's Department's Search & Rescue helicopter there. Garmen communicated with me and the Search & Rescue Team throughout the entire process. Incredible device and even more incredible people!

I love this little device, it’s super easy to use. I’ve had no problems with connecting it to my iPhone. The explorer app and messenger app work great. I haven’t had issues with battery life but I feel like it could be a little bit better at times. The cost of the subscription is a little pricey but you’re paying for peace of mind so I get it.

Big technology in a small package.

I bought this Mini 2 for my wife and I as a way to communicate with family while on camping trips where we have no cell phone service. Our first trip was camping in Palo Duro Canyon in Texas. The Mini 2 worked great, and we were able to keep in touch with family members. It also gave us confidence that if we had a medical emergency we could get help if needed.
