I use this all the time. Living in the back country. But it's especially handy when I'm out snowmobiling alone. Or When I'm out guiding.

I haven't had to use the SOS but for the text and reassurance it was perfect.

Used it on a trip out into the San Juan range in SW Colorado. Convenient to let your friends know you're okay and let people you're meeting where to meet. The peace of mind is worth it.

I take my inreach mini2 almost everywhere with me. I love the small size and ease of use. It also has great navigation features such as waypoint mapping and coordinates.

Great device! I use in all summer in the back country for daily check-ins and for driving through areas without reception, knowing I can get help if needed is awesome

Simply put this tool offers substantial piece of mind. It just work... all the time, holds a charge long time, and seems bomb proof. I spend a fair amount of time on mountain bike trails and cell service is not great. This just sits in my bike bag in case I need it. The other cool thing is the web link you can share with friends/family that shows exactly where in the world you are so that they are not worried about you. Really, everyone that spends time out in more remote areas should have one of these. If not for themselves, to help their family relax knowing you are not on the side of the trail broken in some way not able to get help.
