Good for peace of mind

I got this because my friend almost died and there was no cell service. Luckily she's ok, but I got the inreach for peace of mind in the future. I'm glad to have it.

I have used it to stay in touch with others when I am out in the mountains by myself, and others. It adds another layer of confidence, especially when I know there won't be cell service.

Contracts...ugh

Can't do anything with it without a contract. Not sure if it is worth it for what I'm doing especially with satellite service on iPhone
