Great Product, One Problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bookshelf is made of actual wood, not pressboard, which some companies provide as “wood.” It’s sturdy, stable, and good looking. Not too hard to assemble, either. The one problem I found was during assembly: visible chips on four separate pieces of wood. I bought mine in walnut color, so they are noticeable. I’ll find something good for darkening those spots, and I like the shelf a lot, overall. I’m just not sure about SIMPLiHOME’s quality assurance, as these clearly went into the box looking this way.

Terrible product, splotchy finish, permanent stickers on the INSIDE

Where to start. The finish is splotchy and uneven. The legs are uneven and it rocks back and forth. They stick stickers on the inside surfaces that cannot be removed!!! The screws for the back panel are aligned too close to the inside of the wood so they bust through inside of the book case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Decent bookshelf but with a few things to watch...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great solid wood bookcase but the sides of the bookshelf can be a bit wobbly. Durability is there but I would be hesitant to overload it with anything too heavy. Tolerances are slightly off between the individual shelves and the sides of the bookcase causing a bit of a gap to be present between the two edges.
Also there isn't a lot of room for error when installing the back panel. The panel and its screw holes needs to be aligned near perfectly center, otherwise the screws will damage and shear the edges of the side panels off due to how thin the side walls are.
