We appreciate your feedback on the picture quality of Samsung’s QN80F TV. If the image doesn’t quite match your preferences, there are several adjustments you can make to better suit your viewing environment and content type.

First, please ensure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates may include important picture quality enhancements. Go to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

To explore picture mode options, navigate to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode. Options include:
• Standard – Ideal for general viewing
• Dynamic – Brighter and more vibrant for well-lit spaces
• Eco – Optimized for energy efficiency
• Movie – Best for viewing in low light
• Filmmaker Mode – Preserves the content creator’s intent and disables motion smoothing for supported content

You can further customize your image by going to: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, where you can adjust Brightness, Contrast, Color Tone, Sharpness, Contrast Enhancer and more.

Fantastic picture and great features

This TV is a mini movie theater in a box

You would feel like you were in that picture like it was real life so clear no need for any bigger TV it has perfect size with reality but go ahead get bigger if you want but it's not needed. This TV or mini movie theater lol has so many adjustment controls you dont even have to touch it already is the best screen ever
Enjoy there is nothing else u can do but enjoy out of the box plug in and melt to the screen

Great Samsung TV

Easy setup with great picture & good sound quality along with a user friendly universal remote. Still considering whether to add a Samsung sound bar w/sub woofer.

Just an OK TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] picture is ok, but audio is a real problem. No way to modulate the bass. Any programming with a lot of bass makes the TV virtually unwatchable. This TV has been a complete waste of money, for me.

If the sound still doesn’t meet your expectations after updating, there are several settings that can be customized to better suit your preferences:
• Sound Mode & Expert Settings: Choose from preset Sound Modes or manually adjust bass, treble, and balance to better suit your preferences. Go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode or Expert Settings
• AI Mode: Enable AI Mode to let your TV intelligently optimize sound based on your environment and content. This includes features like:
o Adaptive Sound: Analyzes room acoustics and content in real time
o Adaptive Volume: Maintains a consistent volume level over time
o Active Voice Amplifier: Enhances dialogue when ambient noise is detected
• Auto Volume: Helps stabilize volume when switching channels or input sources: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume > On

Not good.

I was super excited to get my first 85” TV. I did the pre-work to prepare the wall where I was going to hang it. I got an appropriate sized wall mount and installed it. The TV came and it was definitely big and heavy, so I would need a helping hand. I finally got it up on the wall. Once I powered it on, it was bright and vivid. And that’s where the good news ends. I didn’t realize what I was getting when I purchased an AI enhanced picture. Everything was grainy and there was were these weird, subtle fluctuations in the picture. Then I noticed the small, bizarre picture anomalies. Textures were off and I saw the weird AI face abnormalities on distant faces, distortions that were typical of AI image generation. I was so disappointed. I just wanted to try to get the screen to be normal, so I tried to turn off all AI settings. I succeeded in getting rid of the AI motion blurring artifacts, but the weird textures and distortions remain. I’m really disappointed. I want a refund or a TV with no AI enhancement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
