Better life, still too hot

Much better than the standard battery but the battery and Hero 10 still get too hot. I've turned off additional functions and reduced the video capture quality.

Thanks for reaching out. One thing to consider is that when charging Enduro batteries in the charger or in the camera, is that when they reach full charge please remove them. This helps especially if the in-camera battery if the camera is not going to be used for an extended period, such as a few days. Also, when not using the camera, turn off Wifi in the camera settings. This also helps preserve the battery.

Why cold and not for overheating?

I would prefer a battery that doesn’t over heat in summer conditions than one designed for cold weather temps.

Maybe I got a bad one but this battery dies quick. It lasted last time for less than 2 hours until I heard the beep. It’s unfortunate.
