Not very stable

Bad idea to use cheap plastic for this mount. The camera is too heavy. Wish was made of the same material as the El Grande. I had to return it to the retailer.

Unusable with the skeleton mounts for the Hero 5 and 6

Tried to use it but it's unusable with the skeleton mounts for the Hero 5 and 6. The mount is similar to the Fusion Grip and that grip has no problems. Fits perfect like all GoPro products but the Shorty really has a design flaw or production fault. You have to use extreme force to get it to fit in. And that's crappy.

Shorty mini extension pole +tripod

It’s a great product, easy to put in my coat pocket and have with me at any time. As I’ve commented several times I wish GoPro would put some effort into their products toward people that vlog. If this product had some sound damping in the handle it would be awesome. When you move your hand on the handle you get some distortion but not as bad as the 3 way handle.

Great Tripod and extension that fits in your pocket. Convenient for on the go. The handle can get slightly slippery when wet or sweaty palms. Overall a great product.

Mini Extension Pole + Tripod

I love the shorty! It’s compact enough to easily throw in my bag but still gives me enough extension to get the shots I need. I am very pleased with the built in tripod feature as well. It is sturdy so I don’t have to worry about my camera falling over and even fits on smaller width surfaces. I would definitely recommend if you are needing the compact size and the tripod is an added bonus.
