Works for me. Decreases temperature around my place by about 10 degrees. Also can be used as a night lamp :)
Definitely not suitable for those who'd like to cool entire room!

If you are going to buy a Evapolar product, this is the device to buy. The smart features are very nice and it works great with Google Assitant.

Enjoyable product

I just got this today. I run hot I really don't like temps over 65 and at over 75 I am really miserable. What I like is that this little device can plug into a usb port on my computer which means it is portable I could even take it camping if so inclined though I think airplane staff might take issue with it. It says surrounding air is 76.6 F and is cooling to 63.2 F. Also, super quiet at max no louder than a small 8-inch fan. Down sides are it is not very powerful that 8 inch moves more air, but this is significantly cooler both in temp and how it looks. But I doubt it will cool a 45 area at all maybe half that but if you have close to you e.g. Desk or bedside table it will keep you cool. This is a bit spendy, but it works it drinks water on its first use fast, but I think because it is also wetting the filter too. Not sure if it is worth the price but a good thing to have I can’t compare to others on the market though.

I have been using the EvaPolar Smart for a few weeks now, and though the actual setup through the official app did course a few issues (I left a clearer description in the app store rating), overall I am pretty satisfied. The device does cool, though less so in humid environments, my personal recordings have been between 5-6 degrees Celsius. This however is clearly stated on the EvaPolar website, so no surprises there. My only negative comment is, that the fan of the device, tends to make a slight continuous ticking noice - For the money invested I would have expected solid quality throughout, and less plastic parts. The overall design and functionality makes up for the negative, so overall I am pretty impressed with the device.
