I originally purchased this little cooler because I didn’t justify turning on the AC all day but I didn’t want my rabbits to suffer especially when it was hitting 90+ during the Southern California summer. Safe to say that my bunnies immediately took to it! I love how quiet and easy it is to use it and, with the water tank filled, it can easily last until either me or my boyfriend gets home from work and fills it up again. My fur babies love it so much that, even when it’s off, they love to sit in front of it which I think is their sign to us to turn it on again!
Got my Evapolar today and couldn't be happier. In these super hot days in NYC it's a life saver! So much better than window A/C unit - compact, beautiful, noiseless and portable . Cools down the space very fast to the temperature you want. Even my dog enjoys it!
I like how it's keeping me cool instead of using the room's temperature its blowing cold air.
Tips: don't turn it side ways Clean inside occasionally and pour the water out from the opposite side of the lights or else it can damage the lights. Don't refill till the led light say that it needs to refill or else it will leak. Remove the water and leave it on still it dries if your not going to use it for a long time.
4 months after I bought it I had to replace the filter twice and the LED lights is malfunctioning I can’t use the red light anymore.
I purchased one of these as a Kickstarter, and although a little pricey, it has been worth the money for me. The small area cooling works well, and I consistently get a 5-6c temperature decrease in the cooled air. The fact that the air is moist as well, means I don't feel drained and desiccated at the end of the day, such as when the main A/C unit in the office is on. For a small desk area, and a personally controlled cooling system, it's been worth the money for me. At the end of the day, it's a fan in a box with a wet tissue, but the quality of the components and the filter make it a very good fan in a box.
I own small beauty business and it gets really hot during summer inside for my employees. AC wasn't an option for us as it would ruin the historical facade of the building. Then I saw the evapolar ad and bought a couple. We LOVED it. It gets really chilly around them and it even looks cool. We even keep one on our counter as customers love it too!
My office gets a lot of sun in the morning. Even with the blinds drawn it gets warm. This little thing helps cool things down by several degrees, especially if I shut the door! To help things cool a bit more I put ice in it and then fill it with water. It is quiet and mostly unnoticeable. I do not use the connected features due to the office wifi being quite secure and not open for employees to connect IoT devices.
