Pretty Good Pergola with a Downfall

This pergola is very nice. Looks great in my patio. It did take about 3 1/2 hours for one person to build and just minimal help at the end with 2 others. The reason I am not giving it a 5 star is because when it rains the water accumulates on the folds of the fabric and you have to push up on the fabric for all the water to come down. Now I live in Miami and we have some pretty wet summers I'm thinking the fabric is going to start ripping eventually from the weight of the water when it rains. Thought wasn't put into this little scenario.

make sure that you use the screws and mount it to to the surface so that it's secure

My husband and son put the unit together took a little time to figure out but at the end it look great I just caution 2 make sure you stabilize it to the surface. It could fly away on a windy day if you don't

Quick shipping. Seems like a very good quality for price paid. Install directions confusing. Had to take apart support bars to get holes for posts aligned correctly. Not a 1 person job.

We are going to use Waterproofing Spray, Waterproofer + Stain Repellent + UV Protection for the canopy. Sat under it while raining and no drops came through - not bad, we're just going to thoroughly protect it and the new cushions.

I had help assembling this and THANK GOD. It was something else lol. It seems sturdy enough now that it's up, the stakes don't seem that great though so I'll likely tether it down another way. All in all, good for the price!

I love this pergola. It's very sturdy. The only bad thing is the directions, but with some deciphering we figured it out. My husband and I put it together, working on it an hour or two a day for a few days.

That you need to be very good at assembling a complicated structure wit no written instructions.

What i disliked was there were no written instructions only pictures. A friend put it together for me. But i absolutely love it. I would love to be able to contact the company to see about getting an extra cover for it. It seems very sturdy and easy open and close the shade. Altogether i am very pleased.

It has been 88 degrees every day and since I had this it has been wonderful to sit out early in the morning and watch the robins hop around and the hummingbirds fly while drinking coffee. It's a quite nice perchase for me and I like it so much~
