It is well made. Many eyelid on edges to secure it. I bought it to use as a cover on. Rectangular gazebo that had no replacement covers. It is water proof and will work. Could be strung as a shade, well packed and priced right.

Took us a while to assemble as the instructions weren't so clear but in the end we managed it. My husband had to cut 3 inch off the bottom of each of the legs and re-drill the some holes so the feet would fit but looks amazing and holding up against the wind so far!

Bought one, LOVE IT!

I looked at the canopy awnings, none extended over 10' and many reviews said the would "sag" on the unsupported end. No good...This canopy covers my 12 x 12 deck almost completely, it's well constructed, love the heavy metal posts, and the retractability is awesome! Don't have to worry about a sudden storm blowing it to kingdom come! I wish the ties which secure it at each end were longer (we may have to add some length to those) so they would be easier to tie at ends AND would provide a binder when retracted. It was an effort time wise to put together, lots of screws, but not physically difficult. IT IS HEAVY at 106 lbs. so erect it in sections. Highly recommend if this application fits your needs and expectations.
