This is a beautiful trash can, to replace one in my daughter’s kitchen, and of course it has the main draw, the indestructible pedal unlike the top open white plastic trash can she had. I only buy simplehuman because of that wonderful pedal, now if they would only offer that pedal in a Tiffany blue trash can, I’d probably have one in every room!

45 Litre Slim Step Can with Liner rim

The can looks good. However, I am disappointed that the lid will not close all the way. I have to push on the lid so it will close flush as it is supposed to.

Perfect Fit

We needed a trash can to fit by our fridge in a small space and match the black stainless steel appliance. Well made, looks great, arrived quickly, compact but holds a lot! Very Satisfied.:)

Not totally sold

I tell ya, that simple human makes some great trash cans and liners, Best on the market. no bamboozles. This model however, has some flaws. I'm thinking about sending it back. The soft release lid gets stuck open more often than not, requiring some extra steps on the foot lever to dislodge it. The slim profile, while a great space saver, doesn't have enough weight to keep it in place when it's empty. This results in the first dozen or so openings causing the can to shift around on the floor. I find myself having to realign the can back to its original location on the regular. The lid flipping open just causes the thing to go wild. I purchased this over the butterfly model because I liked the liner rim better, but I think I done goofed. It sure looks great though.

Not true! This one is excellent in every way: Good looking, slim, quiet and the bags fit perfectly. Expensive, but worth the cost.
