Wonderful trash cans!!!!

The Simple Human trash cans are the only ones I use. I have 5 of them. This 45L slim step can was to replace the one in the kitchen. Mu husband backed into our other one (my 2019 Christmas present) with his wheel chair and placed a rather large dent in the side of it. He immediately said "Order another one" so I did. They are very attractive, wee made, and clean looking, We just couldn't keep looking at the big dent. The lid prevents any odor from leaking out and keeps our puppy out of the smaller ones. Simple Human's Customer Service is exceptional. They definitely stand behind their products and make every effort to keep their customers satisfied.
By the way, our daughter said "I'll take the dented one!! I'll just turn it around so the dent faces the cabinet." Since I couldn't do that because it sat at the end of my cabinet and could only face one way, I was happy for her to have it.

Worth the cost

I purchased the rose gold slim step. It's great. Looks stylish and takes up little room at the end of my kitchen, but is still large enough by far. Very substantial, I can't imagine that I'll ever need to purchase another kitchen trash can, so it's worth the price in my opinion.

The can looks good. However, I am disappointed that the lid will not close all the way. I have to push on the lid so it will close flush as it is supposed to.
