This trash can seems very well built and looks quite pretty in my kitchen. The lid closes very softly, which is nice. Standard 13-gal bags fit just as well as the Simplehuman brand bags.

A thing of beauty and functionality

Yes, the price may be more than I ever thought i'd pay for a trash can, but the extra cash is worth it. When I had to replace my plastic Simple Human can, it only made sense to step up and purchase this one. It's heavier than plastic, making it less likely to tip over during occasional mishap. The trashbags The store-bought trashbags I already had for the old can also fit this can perfectly. Whatever makes my life easier in the kitchen is worth the cost.

This is the absolute best trash can I’ve ever had. It’s whisper quiet when automatically closing. The changing of the bag is so easy and hassle free. I highly recommend this product. Worth every penny. Brenda

Great Trash Can

I purchased this trash can to fit in my 450-foot studio apartment. It works beautifully, the liner rim hides the top of the trash bag well. I will say I tried the sample SimpleHuman trash bags that came with it and while they’re nice quality, they constantly slipped into the trash can once it got full. I’ve had more success using Glad trash bags with this can.

Never thought I love a trash bin

....but, oh I love this one. It is beautiful! The lid fits snugly and has not been a question of odor (even with fish or cat litter). I am surprised by how much I like the custom fit bags. I can actually fit more into these bags because I don't have to worry about them slipping. I've recommended this product to everyone I can think of.
