Perfect!

This step can is perfect! We have an antique white kitchen, and this can fits beautifully in a narrow space. It is beautiful and very well designed. The pedal is strong, and the lid drops down slowly and quietly. The rim that hides and secures the bag is a very nice touch, and it is roomier than it looks. Really dresses up the kitchen, and I am very happy! Love it:)

Great Trash Can

I purchased this trash can to fit in my 450-foot studio apartment. It works beautifully, the liner rim hides the top of the trash bag well. I will say I tried the sample SimpleHuman trash bags that came with it and while they’re nice quality, they constantly slipped into the trash can once it got full. I’ve had more success using Glad trash bags with this can.

Let me save you all some time, just buy Simplehuman!
I purchased the 45l slim, it's construction as well as the materials used are of superb quality!!
My wife really loves the soft close lid and the fact you cannot see the edge's of the trash bags! It also cleans up very nice, easy to keep looking new.
I don't work for this company I'm just a regular guy but I know one thing, I will buy only Simplehuman trash cans!!

It’s the bomb!

Like others, I have never paid this much for a trash can but I splurged because it is for our brand new home. The color is PERFECT for our decor and it fits like a glove in the space next to the counter. I didn’t want to put it under the sink because it’s actually beautiful. It seems well made and sturdy and it works like a charm. The custom fit bags that came as a trial are awesome.

Worth the cost

I purchased the rose gold slim step. It's great. Looks stylish and takes up little room at the end of my kitchen, but is still large enough by far. Very substantial, I can't imagine that I'll ever need to purchase another kitchen trash can, so it's worth the price in my opinion.

This trash can seems very well built and looks quite pretty in my kitchen. The lid closes very softly, which is nice. Standard 13-gal bags fit just as well as the Simplehuman brand bags.
