A Welcome Change!

After 30 years of dealing with an undersized and inconvenient waste container under the kitchen sink, we discovered the perfect upgrade with the Simplehuman slim step can. Our kitchen is small, but the slim step can fits in well, looks great, and is so easy to operate. We are impressed by the sharp engineering and quality manufacturing that produced this American made product, and expect we'll enjoy many years of faithful service from it. Our only regret is not discovering this solution years ago.

Such a great investment honestly. Completely stainless steel and such a clean look to it. The perfect size for me. I love my trash can, it closes so softly, the step to open it is great as well. The bags they sent as a sample are lovely and fit perfectly as well. Simplehuman has managed to make everything trash related so much easier for me. Thank you.

My old can died on me when a piece of the lid broke off. I contacted customer service who told me that my particular model was no longer carried. However they would gladly allow me to select a new can for a small upgraded fee. It was marginal and definitely worth it. This can is sleek and the lid is reliable with touchless step lift technology. It repels fingerprints for those occasions when changing bag etc. Bonus, it looks so great in my kitchen where space is at a minimum.
