Beautiful and slim

I love the slim step can. The reason I'm giving it four stars is because I don't love how you have to sort of push the lid and inner ring a bit past a joint in order to get the bag out when it's time to change it. It feels a little like I'm breaking it or forcing it back too far. But, it's been ok doing that so far - just a little nervous!

Lovely trash can

I love this except one factor makes it 4 instead of 5. Would not stop me from buying it. I wish the lid that opens would open all the way so I could more easily get my full trash bag out. It seems I can’t fill it and still remove it. Since the bags are pricey I like to fill them to the max.

Description stated absorbanodor included. It was not. I did communicate and they are sending a stick on. But I would have preferred to have had the one that was professionally installed and not to have had to waste my time complaining.

Happiness in a simplehuman can

I never thought I would find so much happiness in a kitchen trash can, but I do...every function works so well, from the silent close lid, to the metal ring that conceals the liner, and the way that the liner fits perfectly within.

Design flaw

Our first trash can was excellent until cover mechanism broke and its sensor stop working after a year of use, so this new trash can arrived. Unlike the previous one, this has a limited opening when you try to take the full trash bag out of it or trying to replace the bag. Makes me wonder why the company tested it before making it as a selling product. This is annoying when you need to hold it up to take the trash out of it and replacing the bag. Also, it does not have a trash bag storage on the back like the previously owned model. Other wise, the step on mechanism is sturdier than I thought, slim enough to place it by the corner against the wall.

I was skeptical bring a white garbage bin but I love it. It looks so gorgeous! And if you are crazy about the esthetics- this can is perfect
