Inadequate Packaging

Haven’t used the product at all! It came dented - probably because the item itself was covered in plastic with the sides being shielded by only a thin cardboard sheet with no extra padding. There wasn’t a separate shipping box. Customer service is through chats & texts and I think email via contact form with 3 days turnaround time for a response. Too many deterrents to buy direct from source.

Black Matte not as good

Loved silver one with plastic lid but new Black Matte one makes subtle noise when closing and I already tried lubricant as troubleshoot suggested! I am disappointed with that but otherwise can is great.

smooth, silent lid, can stay open by lifting lid, easy to change bad. I wish it were 2 inches taller to avoid having to bend down to throw the trash in

Design flaw

Our first trash can was excellent until cover mechanism broke and its sensor stop working after a year of use, so this new trash can arrived. Unlike the previous one, this has a limited opening when you try to take the full trash bag out of it or trying to replace the bag. Makes me wonder why the company tested it before making it as a selling product. This is annoying when you need to hold it up to take the trash out of it and replacing the bag. Also, it does not have a trash bag storage on the back like the previously owned model. Other wise, the step on mechanism is sturdier than I thought, slim enough to place it by the corner against the wall.
