Lid does not shut all the way, replacing previous model that the hinge broke

One week after owning it, the lid does not shut all the way. This is a replacement for the previous model which is no longer sold. Previous model had the hinge break. Too exepensive of a trash can to have this poor a quality.

Recently redecorated our kitchen and wanted to upgrade our previous simplehuman slim can this can and we are so happy with it! It is slightly larger and functions beautifully! Highly recommend!

Nice can but it move around every time you step open the can

I love the sleek design of this can but I wish I had gotten a different one. I set it right next to the island in the kitchen and every time I step open the can it keeps moving away. I constantly find myself moving it back to it place. Unfortunately I got rid of the box right after I unpacked so couldn’t return….

Love our new trash can. Previously had the Simplehuman Trash/Recycler and traded it out for this. Lightweight, easy to clean, step feature is quiet and smooth. The slim style fits our kitchen well.

Perfect size

Another quality product from simple human. Put this between my washer and dryer and is convenient for disposing of utility room waste and does not take up a lot of room. Love the stainless steel which will be easy to clean. Love the step pedal option to open up. Lid closes very slowly so you don’t hear the lid slam shut like most garbage cans. Simple human has the perfect can for every situation.
