Slim line can in white looks and perform great. Solid construction, excellent bags and step open feature. Can does slide around on floor and could use some stable rubber feet. Also no provision for bags on sid eof can like the square kitchen can.

Lid is heavy and won't stay open

Lid is slow to lift and requires a bit of a step. It also won't stay propped open, like the plastic simplehuman trash can we had that broke. So if you are peeling vegetables and like to throw them in the trash can, you have to step on the pedal each time and wait for the lid to slowly lift. It looked nice though

Love trash can but…

So this trash can is perfect- never realized I could be so excited by trash!!
The only reason I gave it four stars is you have to step on can to open lid otherwise you have to open the liner piece and lid so it’s just clunky.
I wish there was a small piece that extends out so I can lift just lid and keep just lid open at a 90 degree angle when prepping dinner. When you try and open all the way it only goes to about 45 maybe 60 degrees.

Don’t waste your time buying from anywhere else. The can is great, no finger prints and easy to pull bags in and out.
