Perfect for narrow spaces with the step opener in front. This is my second one, the first stainless, the second matt black. Both handsome, blending with the decor.
The free liners (white plastic trash bags) are gratuitous, because Hefty and Glad, both white and black, are available in any grocery store. A superlative product!

Great, space-saving trash can

I like the shape of the can and the way it opens. Some don't like that it doesn't open all the way up initially, but I think it's great that stepping on the pedal opens it enough to toss something in, without having to see fully into the can. We got it because our dog was getting into our previous Simple Human can that was easier for him to open up. Since this one closes flush with the sides, he can't just nose it up and hasn't managed to open it. We didn't want to get an electronic dog-proof can, and this has worked out perfectly.

You know you’re an adult when you are excited over a trash can

We’re loving our new trash can. The 45 slim is perfect for our bathroom next to the vanity. The lid is heavy enough our German shepherd can’t lift it to dig in the trash. The foot pedal is nice to use and the dog hasn’t figured out how to step on that to open the lid yet. We upgraded from a tjmaxx can to this. Don’t think about it, just buy it. I actually ordered another 45 L for our laundry room and two more butterfly trash cans for our smaller bathrooms. Love this brand.

We bought this to use as a recycle bin because we generate a lot of material in the week. Love the size and sits perfectly next to our voice plus motion rectangle sensor can 58L.
