Looks great but the lid does not entirely close as it is supposed to. I have to manually use the pedal for the lid to close the last couple of inches. There is nothing in the way to prevent it from closing.

This is the best trash can there is

We purchased this because the lid broke on our first one due to force shutting it when we shouldn’t have (oops!) We love this trash can because it has withstood our dogs many attempts at getting into it and it’s been 4 years and she still hasn’t been able to get the trash! 10/10 recommend.

My favorite trashcan brand

The old style butterfly slim trashcan for 20 years or more and I absolutely loved it but then I was looking for a trashcan for my youngest daughter who moved out and stumbled upon the slim style that’s not butterfly and it doesn’t have the insert trashcan anymore and I fell in love with it so I bought myself one and I got her one as well
