Great for smaller spaces

I had a previous square simplehuman garbage can which I loved and was still functioning well. I moved into a smaller apartment, this one fits much better. Love the quality of these cans. My daughter received my "hand-me-down" simplehuman garbage can. She loves it.

Thin, white Kitchen Trash Can.

This is perfect for small spaces. I use it to store grocery bags for reuse. The only improvement I would suggest is that a New Bag Holder/Dispenser be designed in the interior like my double sided Simply Human trash can. This way the can and a supply of can liners are self contained and one unit. You don’t have to search in another storage area for the can liners. Happy with the product for my purposes.

My SUPER simplehuman 45L slim step can with liner rim

This is my second simplehuman 45L Slim Step stainless trash can.
I purchased my first one about 10 years ago. I always referred to the first simplehuman trash can as my superhuman trash can. It was that good. After all those years, the hinge broke. It was a great trash can.
My new simplehuman trash can is better quality than the original can and it is "nice looking" for a trash can. It has a stainless steel top whereas the first trash can top was plastic. It has a liner rim not found on the first trash can. Plus, the finish is not subject to showing finger prints.
A trash can has one function so it must hold up to the day-to-day use without issues over a long period of time. That is why I purchased my second SUPER simplehuman trash can.

I bought this to replace my old simplehuman garbage can. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. This model is very cheap. The can wobbles every time I open it until there's enough trash in it to keep it weighted down. The liner rim doesn't open or close easily. I have to pry it open and once I've changed the liner and closed the top it doesn't sit flush against the can. Either I got a lemon or this is a poorly made product. Very disappointed.

It's not as slim as I would have preferred. The simplehuman sticker on the lid is incredibly difficult to remove. But as a trash can, it works fine.
