Like it in Stainless, LOVE it in Black!

This is the second 58L sensor can I’ve purchased over the last 5 years, and I love it so much, I upgraded the home office trash can with the stainless one, and bought a new black one for the kitchen. Perfectly blends with our black cabinetry for a sleek, modern look. A practical domestic investment worth every penny!

Third voice can in a matter of 4 years!

This is my Third can in a matter of four years. I highly believe these cans are meant to break so you’re constantly spending money for their simplehuman products. The latest one was under warranty and seems like it’s better but only time will tell. 300. 00 now for a garbage can I wouldn’t ever spend that much. That’s a little ridiculous, when my first one only cost 150. 00! The last two only lasted two years each. So let’s see what this one will be like. Don’t let the price fool you thinking you’re getting something that’s going to last! It’s nice when ur cooking and need the lid to open and all you have to say is open can, stay open, or close can. However words that rhyme with any of those words also opens the can as well and when u have guest in it’s not something u want them to be able see or smell, unless they are saying the actual commands to have it open. As for the air freshener mays we’ll just throw it in the garbage can as they simply don’t work ur better off going to a dollar store and getting something to place in bottom if you want something to eliminate the odors or simply just wipe ur can out over time. Simplehumans odor eliminator doesn’t work what’s so ever that’s just another way for them to make money and laugh in your face! Like I said only time will tell they said they improved there voice can to me so we will see. I’ll update if this one last more than 2 years! It’s December 2025 currently!

This is an amazing trashcan. It is exactly what I needed. I also like that it comes with fitted liners. The heavy duty liners are great.

What an awful waste of time and kind of trashy looking honestly with the plastic hinge that doesn't open and immediately closes like it's some sort of game to get your trash in the bin
