I have tried many vanity mirrors and none were just what I wanted until this one. The mirror is substantial and a good size to see your face. I like having the 3 magnification settings. It’s easy to flip the mirror to the other side without getting fingerprints on it. I was hesitant to spend the money on it but I now think it was worth it.

This is a great makeup mirror. My old mirror died after many, many years of being a faithful partner in my morning routine and my afternoon/evening touch-ups! After a short mourning period and not being able to find anything similar to compare, a dear friend recommended I try simple human’s Sensor Mirror. She loved hers and knew that I would love one as well. She was so right! No disrespect to my old reliable mirror, but progress has brought me into the present/future of wonderful this product is! I cannot give enough kudos to my friend and simplehuman! Great Product!

CONFUSING

I wish the instructions were more detailed. There was nothing included that explained a component that was attached to the power cord. Also, nothing that explained how to change the type of light (natural versus indoor) the mirror is supposed to offer. The information on line was also scant.

I have a love-hate relationship with this mirror. On the positive side, I really like the three magnification levels and the flip design, it’s versatile and the mirror itself is high quality.
But for the price, the functionality is seriously disappointing. The motion sensor turns on every time someone walks into the bathroom, draining the battery quickly. I’ve ended up keeping it plugged in all the time, which defeats the purpose of having a rechargeable mirror.
The light frequently shuts off while I’m using it unless I’m sitting up as straight as possible, which isn’t always feasible, especially when using the small 10x mirror. . it would be helpful if the mirror angled down more or the base had shorter options. . For some reason sometimes the light does not turn on at full brightness. When that happens, I have to manually reset it by covering the sensor to turn it off, wait a few seconds, and then wave my hand to get it to work properly again.
It’s a beautiful mirror that offers all the magnification options I was looking for, but the sensor issues and inconsistent lighting make it frustrating to use, especially considering how expensive it is. I expected better performance at this price point.
