Would have been five stars except it turns itself on with any nearby movement. Then I have to turn it off, even when not in use. Very nicely constructed, love the dimmer on the light and the two different lighting colors. Overall happy with purchase.

Battery life is already questionable

This is my second mirror in a month that has battery life issues. Not sure if I got a bad batch or if Simplehuman has lowered their standards on battery length. In the past, the charge would last weeks to a month on the mirrors. The battery on the mirror I just bought needed recharging after a week.

A luxury upgrade from a typical makeup mirror

I have the travel size in the Simple Human sensor mirror and love it. I decided to upgrade my vanity mirror with this one and I am glad I did. The sensor works fine. The mirror charges quickly. The light selection is perfect for different needs (i. e. putting on make up, plucking eyebrows, inspecting pores, etc. ). The 8” size is plenty big and the small magnifying mirror at the bottom is perfect for a closer look. The only issue is that the mirror it tall and not height adjustable. My vanity is counter height and the mirror sits just a little too high so that getting a “full face” mirror shot is not achievable so I got an adjustable height vanity chair and problem solved. This purchase was definitely a splurge for me and I have no regrets.

My spouse loves her original Sensor Mirror that is extendable to a higher position for use while standing. The Trio is 4 star only because it is not extendable!
