I love my new mirror but I had to give it a 4. The reason being it doesn't swivel down far enough and I have to tilt it with something to see good. Other than that it is perfect.

I wasn't sure I needed this purchase, but did want it. I like everything about it and especially getting older, the magnification is great! Making sure my makeup is on in the best light has been helpful!

Setup instructions not good, but great mirror

The setup instructions are not very helpful, but I like the mirror a lot. I wish there were a way to make the sensor less sensitive (it goes on when I go near it), but I like the mirror a lot.

new style

I bought the new 8" because my existing one would not work. The company eventually honored their 5 year guarantee and I appreciate that. I like the new mirror but still prefer the old design with a larger max magnifier. But I am very happy I have a working simplehuman mirror. They are the best out there.

Design flaw

The height is too high and not adjustable. Needed to get a higher chair, but now knees interfere with the table. Also, the sensor is too sensitive; goes on when you want it off and difficult to turn off. Once you get it to turn off and step away, it senses your motion and turns on again. Also, the dimmer slide is finicky and not smooth; shines too bright or dims too dark, even if moving finger slowly. Please send this to your R&D and redesign this. Other than that, the quality and build is good. Would return, but already opened it.
