Perfect mirror!

This is the perfect mirror! I use all 3 levels of magnification. One for putting makeup on my eyes and other details, one for general makeup, and the other to see myself as others see me. I wear glasses of low strength and I can accomplish everything without glasses. I had another brand and the clarity was terrible. The clarity is crisp and clear in all views. The light is also incredibly helpful.

Sensor detracts from great product

The optics of this mirror are the primary reason that I made this purchase. Each of the three magnifications performed flawlessly. It was easy to focus on any area I chose. I did find that the strongest section, 10 power, might have been more useful located at the top position rather down at the bottom. But that’s just my preference. This mirror is illuminated by a complete circle of led lights. The ring of light I had an opaque lens to eliminate any hot spots. The intensity can be adjusted by sliding a finger across a sensor to adjust across a wide range of intensity.
That’s the good part. Now on to the much hyped sensor. This mirror comes with the ability to detect a person in front of it and will turn on the LED ring when one comes close to it. The instructions say to cover the sensor for one second to turn the lighting off. It works but a moment later the lights come back on anyway. No matter how many times the sensor is reset per the instructions it works the same way. But if you leave the charger connected and try to use the lighting it will continually turn off. An on/off switch under the base will disable this system, but then what did I pay a premium price for?
This product would have scored perfect marks if it were controlled by a simple on/off dimmer switch.
