Lid does not close by itself

Great looking can but the lid won’t close by itself! I find the lid stuck half open until i press it closed.

Haven’t touched the lid all week, which is ideal and better than Brabantia.
Instructions should mention that after you attach the side compost bin it can never be moved again…

Awesome purchase. The odor control is a nice touch to a well built, well thought out receptacle. No more pinching thumbs when installing the bag. The opening mechanism is strong and the container is as well. I highly recommend.
